How To Use Multani Mitti For Dry Skin / Benefits

Dry skin is a real bummer. Multani mitti also has cooling and soothing properties that can work in favour of dry skin. Those with parched and flaky skin, who are on a constant hunt for some miracle, will know what I mean. But rejoice. Because there is one thing that can resolve your dry skin issues. And that is multani mitti or it's also called Fuller’s earth.

Dry skin often lacks lustre and can be itchy and flaky, and hence, may benefit from multani mitti face packs for dry skin. A homemade multani mitti face pack for dry skin can be whipped up easily as all the ingredients should be available in your kitchen. It is best if you use these face packs only once a week or once a fortnight, and not too often to avoid drying your skin further.

Honey :-

You Will Need :-

• 1 tablespoon multani mitti
• 1 tablespoon honey
• Some Grapes

How To Do :-

1. Mash the grapes.
2. In a clean bowl, mix multani mitti, honey, and the mashed grapes. Adjust the amount of honey as per the consistency of the face pack.
3. Mix well and apply to your face.
4. Let it stay for 20 minutes and then wash with cold water.
5. Follow up with a moisturizer.
6. Do this remedy once a week for better result. 

Curd :-

You Will Need :-

• 1 tablespoon multani mitti
• 1 tablespoon curd

How To Do :-

1. Take a clean bowl and mix the curd with multani mitti.
2. Spread it evenly throughout your face and let it dry.
3. Soak your hand in lukewarm water and then massage your face.
4. Gently remove the rest of the face pack and pat dry.
5. Do this once a week.

Scrub Oatmeal Pack :-

How To Do :-

1. Multani mitti can be mixed with oatmeal powder to create a scrub and pack.
2. You can mix the two with curd or milk, until you get the right consistency and rub the mixture on your face and neck in circular motion with your fingertips.
3. Add some extra multani mitti and oatmeal powder to thicken the consistency and apply it as a pack.
4. You can wash off the pack with cold water after 15-30 minutes.

Lakme recently launched their beautiful Metallic ‘9 to 5 Naturale’ range which is sooooo... amazing because of aloe extracts and the goodness of honey in it. I purchased their ‘9 to 5 Naturale Matte Sticks Lipsticks’ and today I am reviewing the shade ‘Rouge Metro’. Now, let’s get into the details quickly.

Product Description:-

Nothing ever enhances a makeup look quite like a picture perfect and a healthy, gorgeous looking pout. Lakmé’s all new matte sticks’ collection heals and softens lips with the goodness of aloe vera and honey in it. 

It has semi matte texture with a little hint of shimmer in it to give a radiant look to lips, It also delivers a long lasting finish and is available in 15 intense shades that complement any Indian skin tones very easily.

Application:-

• Start applying from the center of your upper lip as usually you apply your other lipsticks.
• Now follow the contours of your lips with a light but sturdy hand from top to bottom wisely.
• Similarly, glide the product across your lips very gently.
• Now it's done you're ready to shine up.

My Awesome Experience with my fav brand Lakme 9 to 5 Naturale Matte Sticks Lipstick Rouge Metro:-

Packaging:-

This entire 9 to 5 Naturale range comes in a very pretty glossy & beautiful packaging. This lipstick comes in a pretty, shiny green rose and pink ombre crayon type packaging which attracts lots of girls out there; Firstly you have to twist it up and down to get the bullet out and in. It’s a pretty, simple, & lightweight lipstick, and the attractive tube is just gorgeous. 

It also comes with a nice outer box with details on it, but they all look the same in the outer texture but the names are written down bellow of it, so it’s quite difficult to identify the shade quickly when you are up to go on. Also, the name is not properly highlighted on the tube so that you need to be very patient while reading it on; the font is too small to understand. Otherwise, overall it’s a very gorgiee beautiful packaging till now in lakme range ever.

Shade and Pigmentation:-

My summer is never complete without a bright lipstick infact neither the girls out there right, so I picked up the shade “Rouge Metro”, which is a very bright orangiee red shade. This shade is apt for all skin tones and looks absolutely stunning on the lips. It looks bright and fresh in any season or occasions, which is great for any summers. 

It has finely milled shimmer particles that give golden orange hues on the lips very plesently but to the other side it also doesn't look overpowering at all. The shade is well-pigmented and requires only a few strokes to achieve an opaque color. It covers lip pigmentation too very easily and fastly.

Texture and Quality:-

This “Naturale” range is actually a metallic lipstick range that carries a natural finish with aloe vera and honey in it. This lipstick has a very soft and smooth moist texture which make lips very soften and smoother and that glides sooooo well without any tugging between it. The formula feels soo comfortable and lightweight on the lips. The lipstick gives a natural metallic tint to the lips, but it is not too shiny and not too noticeable either.

It sets to a perfect matte texture with a subtle glowy finish. The formula is transfer proof, smudge proof and waterproof, too which is very good for for girls out there because we all love to have it like this. But if you have extremely chapped lips, you’ll need a lip balm underneath. As the time passes, this lipstick makes your lips a bit dry. But coming to the staying power the lipstick stays throughout the day it means till 8 hours very perfectly.

• If you want you can keep the rice soaked in water for 4 to 5 hours as well.
• This will make the rice water fermented and will allow enough time for the water to absorbs the qualities of rice.
• If you soak the rice for 4 to 5 hours, the rice water may smell bad because it becomes fermented. but it's completely okay to smell like that and after 2 to 5 hours of soaked, grind the rice with your hands for some time.
• And then strain the rice water to a different bowl.
• Now add 4 to 6 teaspoon of "extra virgin apple cider vinegar" to the bowl of rice water and if you don't have apple cider vinegar, you can add 4 to 6 teaspoon of lemon juice to the rice water.
• Now your hair rinse products is ready.
• Now before using the hair rinse product, do a bit of oiling in your scalp.
• You can use coconut oil to thoroughly massage the scalp for 5 to 10 minutes but you can use any hair oil of your choice.
• After oiling leave it for an hour, after an hour over wash your hair with any shampoo of your choice.
• After washing your hair properly, lastly use the hair rinse product to finally wash your hairs.
• Use this hair rinse technique for 2 to 3 times in a week for better shine naturally in your hairs.
